Key Responsibilities
As part of the logistics team, drivers will be responsible for:
- Safely operating company vehicles for the transport of FMCG goods across Dubai and other Emirates.
- Ensuring timely delivery and collection of shipments from warehouses, suppliers, and customers.
- Verifying goods against invoices/delivery notes before dispatch.
- Maintaining vehicles in clean, roadworthy condition and performing basic checks.
- Following assigned routes and delivery schedules for maximum efficiency.
- Reporting any delays, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly.
- Strictly complying with UAE traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
- Assisting in loading/unloading goods when needed.
- Recording delivery logs, trip sheets, and mileage reports accurately.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have:
- A valid UAE driving license (Light or Heavy Vehicle).
- Proven driving experience, preferably in logistics or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads, traffic rules, and safe driving practices.
- Ability to follow delivery instructions and complete documentation.
- Physical fitness for handling goods when required.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and strong communication skills.
