• Vacancies: 01 (Now in existence) + Anticipated vacancies
• Scope: Open market candidates.
• Apportionment Rules: * Vacancies reported from MATSYAFED will be apportioned in the ratio 5:3:2 among General (Part I), Fishermen/Dependents (Part II), and Society Category (Part III)., Vacancies from other Apex Societies (non-MATSYAFED) will be split 1:1 between Part I (General) and Part II (Society).
• Reservation: Standard reservation rules (General Rules 14 to 17 of KS&SSR 1958) apply. 4% reservation is allocated for Differently Abled candidates.

Category No. 087/2026 (Part II – Fishermen / Dependent of Fishermen Category):

• Vacancies: Anticipated Vacancies
• Eligibility: Exclusive to individuals belonging to the Fishermen or Dependent of Fishermen community.
• Note: General reservation rules (14 to 17 of KS&SSR) do not apply to this list. If there is a shortage of candidates, unfilled vacancies will be filled from the Society Category (Part III) list.

• Eligibility: Regular employees of member societies affiliated with MATSYAFED.
