Applications are invited from Scheduled Tribes for temporary appointment to 1182 vacancies of Scheduled Tribe Promoters/Health Promoters under the ITDP Offices/Tribal Development Offices operating under the Scheduled Tribes Development Department in various districts of the state.
Scheduled Tribe youths who are willing to serve and have 10th class educational qualification can apply for activities such as providing information about various welfare development schemes to the Scheduled Tribes, providing various welfare activities conducted by various departments and agencies of the government to the Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries, and ensuring treatment for Scheduled Tribes seeking treatment in various government hospitals.
Those selected will be entitled to an honorarium of Rs.13,500/- including TA per month.
For PVTG/Adiya/Paniya/Malapandara categories, 8th class qualification is sufficient. Age limit between 20 and 40 years. Preference will be given to those who have studied nursing and paramedical courses and have mastered Ayurveda/Traditional Medicine for being considered as Health Promoters. Appointment will be on the basis of direct interview.
Application in the prescribed format should be submitted through the Project Office/Tribal Development Office in the respective districts. While submitting the application, the Tribal Extension Office under the residence limit of the applicants should be selected. One person should not submit more than one application. The last date for submission of application is October 25 at 4 pm. The appointment period will be one year.
