The notification for the Agniveer selection for the Indian Air Force (Agniveer Vayu-01\/2026) has been published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The recruitment rally will be held from August 27 to September 14. Unmarried men and women can participate. The educational qualification is Plus Two \/ equivalent in non-science. The selected work will be for four years of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Educational Qualification (Non-Science Subjects): Plus Two \/ equivalent with at least 50% marks. English should have 50% marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or a three-year diploma in Mechanical \/ Electrical \/ Electronics \/ Automobile \/ Computer Science \/ Instrumentation Technology \/ Information Technology with at least 50% marks. English should have 50% marks in the diploma. In case of Diploma course not including English, 50% marks in English in Class 10 or Plus Two. Or, a two-year vocational course with 50% marks. In case of Vocational course not including English, 50% marks in English in Class 10 or Plus Two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Age: Not more than 21 years. Applicants should be born between 1st January 2005 and 1st July 2008 (both dates inclusive).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Physical Qualification: Height (Male\/Female): 152 cm. Chest Measurement (Male): 77 cm. Chest Measurement (Male\/Female): 5 cm. Applicants should have a weight according to age and height, normal eyesight and hearing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salary\/Service Package: The monthly allowance for the first year of four years of service is Rs. 30,000, Rs. 33,000 in the second year, Rs. 36,500 in the third year, and Rs. 40,000 in the fourth year. Out of this, 30 percent of the amount is set aside every month for the Agniveer Corpus Fund and the remaining amount is given. The government will also invest an amount equal to the set aside in the package. After the service period, you will get Rs. 10.04 lakh in both the installments. In addition, you will be entitled to non-contributory life insurance coverage of Rs. 48 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recruitment Rally: Certificate verification, physical fitness test, written test, adaptability test, and medical examination will be conducted as part of the recruitment rally. There will be two stages for the physical fitness test. In the first stage, men will have to run a distance of 1.6 km within seven minutes and women within eight minutes. Those who pass this will be selected for the second stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the second stage, there will be push-ups (only for men), sit-ups and squats. Those who pass the physical fitness test will also be given a written test on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The objective type OMR test will be conducted. The time limit is 45 minutes. The questions will be based on English, Reasoning and General Awareness. Details regarding the selection process including the rally procedure and the syllabus of the online test will be available in the notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rally will be held on August 30 and 31 for men from Kerala and on September 5 and 6 for women.
